E_instruction for Submission

Transactions of the Materials Research Society of Japan

Material scientists are invited to submit papers either to the annual symposium or to regular journals of the MRS-Japan. The both are published in the Transactions of the Materials Research Society of Japan which are quarterly issued. More than a thousand copies are circulated not only to MRS-J members, but also to symposium participants and academic societies relevant to materials research.

Submission	Proceedings	To: Session chairperson on the symposium day.

Refereeing	After refereeing, the accepted papers are published to a regular journal, Transactions of the Materials Research Society of Japan.
Submission Fee*	Proceedings	The submission fee for the symposium is evenly 30,000 yen for all the papers. (black & white, no cover sheet). The reprint fee (100 copies) is included (See Section 7. PUBLICATION CHARGE). Page limitation is 6 pages for invited lectures and 4 pages for general presentations both for oral and poster.
	Regular issue	10,000 yen/page including 100 reprints (black & white, no cover sheet)
	Color Page	An extra fee, 30,000 yen/page is charged to colored pages.
	Cover sheet	Note the request on Author Registration Form, if cover sheets are requested. 10,000 yen is additionally charged.
	Extra reprints	Not the request on Author Registration Form, if extra reprints are requested. The charge below is added.
Invoice	Forms of a cost estimate, a bill and the invoice are mailed, as well as reprints of 100 copies and a complementary copy of Transactions. Please deposit the amount on the bill to the bank account. If the authors have special requests, such as special forms and descriptions, send them together with Author Registration Form.

The bill as an MRS-J form is mailed.
