Dear Colleague, The 8th
IUMRS (International
Union of Materials Research Societies) International Conference on Advanced
Materials, IUMRS-ICAM2003, will be
held at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama International Conference Center), Yokohama,
Japan, from 8 to 13, October, 2003.
IUMRS-ICAM2003 will cover
progress in the recent achievements and innovations in the fields of advanced
materials research and technology in the world. The main objectives and scopes
of the conference is to promote interest in the application of various kinds of
materials, especially related with the nano-, the information-, the bio- and the
environment conscious-materials & technologies. The conference will consist of
several plenary lectures and about 40 different symposia on advanced materials
perspectives, future research directions and materials education. The Conference
Proceeding will be published soon after the conference in Trans. MRS-J
(Transactions of the Materials Research Society of Japan). The working language of the
conference will be English.
