Scope:

In current gel science, theoretical progress is achieved a lot for such many aspects as network structure, phase transition, real molecular dynamics, etc. Also, networks with well-defined structure and cross-link points with mobility and reversibility in network, they have attracted recent investigations of both academic and industrial interests, which also includes soft matter research works of self assembly, self healable, microparticle, phase transition, phase separation, and so on. These keywords can represents the research fields in soft matter. In addition, gel plays a dominant role in developing the stimuli-responsive materials and have versatile character in relation to biomimetic materials. This symposium is held with focusing on the establishment of roadmaps for gels towards a functional utility. Topics will include various fundamental and advanced applications in diverse areas as colloids, polymer gels, suraface, interface, elastmers, biopolymers, drug delivery, pharmaceutics, and bio-related systems.

Topics:

1.Synthesis and characterization of soft materials
2.Structural and functional design
3.Role and function of soft material in material science and technology
4.Application in various fields
