Scope:

Utilization of multidisciplinary energy techniques in our societies is essential to solve the energy problems. There are several energy techniques of 1) techniques to improve energy efficiency of the existing energy systems, 2) techniques to utilize renewable energy such as solar power, wind power, geothermal power and wave power, 3) techniques to recover and recycle the exhausted heat from the existing energy systems. It is important not only to put right techniques in the right places of our societies, but also to achieve a significant upgrade and low cost of the techniques. We need to find a clue of technical breakthroughs by overlooking the multiple material techniques and constructing a new materials science. In this session, material researches and developments on the above three energy techniques will be presented and the common technical issues will be discussed in a cross-sectional manner.
