  • 1. Creating a MyPage
    • Both presenters and audience are required to create a MyPage.
    • Please create your MyPage via the Annual Meeting MyPage portal.
    • If you are giving a presentation, please select "Presenter" on your MyPage.
    • You cannot create multiple MyPage accounts using the same email address.
    2. Registering Presentation Information (For Prospective Presenters)
    • Please register your presentation details through your newly created MyPage.
    • Please create your abstract using the provided template and upload it as a PDF file.

    • Presenters may give up to two presentations. You may modify your abstract and registration details at any time until the deadline.
    3. Submission Deadline
    • Deadline: July 31, 2026, 15:00 (JST)
    • Please ensure your submission is fully completed by the date and time specified above.
    4. Notification of Acceptance
    • Acceptance notifications are scheduled to be published on your MyPage starting August 21, 2026.
    5. Event Registration (For Presenters)
    • Presenters are also required to register for the event.
    • Starting August 21, please complete your registration via the registration screen on your MyPage.
    • Once the payment of your registration fee is complete, you will be able to download your registration card for the day of the event from your MyPage.
    6. For Prospective Audience
    • Please select "Audience" on your MyPage.
    • Starting August 21, please complete your registration via the registration screen on your MyPage.
    • Once the payment of your registration fee is complete, you will be able to download your registration card for the day of the event from your MyPage.

    Public Release of Annual Meeting Abstracts

    To enhance the accessibility of academic information and promote open access, MRS-Japan will release abstracts submitted to its Annual Meeting according to the following schedule:

    • Six months after the meeting: accessible to MRS-Japan members only
    • Two years after the meeting: publicly accessible under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license

    All authors are required to agree to this policy prior to preparing and submitting their abstracts.
    Please note that authors may continue to make their own abstracts available through their institutional websites or repositories, in accordance with the MRS-Japan copyright policy.
