Students (no age limit), or
General researchers under the age of 40 (as of the end of December of this year)

Application and Selection Process for the Encouragement Award

The selection for the Encouragement Award will be based on the abstract (one A4 page) submitted at the time of presentation application, as well as the presentation delivered during the conference.
Award recipients will be required to submit a Digest (two A4 pages). The Digest should present the latest research成果 related to the awarded work and, after peer review, will be published in the MRS-J Bulletin.
Further details will be provided to shortlisted candidates after the conference.
