Conference Overview:

As extreme weather events and environmental changes intensify, the climate crisis has become increasingly severe. There is a growing and urgent demand for rapid, large-scale decarbonization and transformation of social systems based on sound scientific evidence. Amid the rapid societal changes toward sustainability, the importance of materials science as a driving force for technological innovation continues to rise.

This conference focuses on the role of materials innovation and brings together researchers from diverse fields, as well as students and early-career researchers who will shape the future, to discuss the forefront of materials science and emerging challenges toward realizing a sustainable future. A wide range of topics will be addressed, including energy and the environment, semiconductor devices, and biomedical and healthcare applications, covering the exploration of new materials, the development of novel functions, and the creation of innovative processes in response to the rapidly evolving needs of society.
